  Over the weekend, in honor of my 40th birthday, I completed a challenging rope course - 30 obstacles plus zip line, all 35 feet up. I signed up for kickboxing a year ago and I could not have completed the obstacle course without the core and upper body strength I have gained. More important, I would not have had the courage or boldness to do it. Thank you for helping me to remember my own power. The transformation I've made in the past year has been amazing - both physically and mentally. A special thank you to Isaac, Alex, and Juan, for always putting up with my grumbling in class and still encouraging me to keep pushing. Every time one of you reminds me that little by little I'll get to where I want to be, it keeps me going. You have no idea the impact you've made on my life in so many ways and I cannot thank you enough.
